David Humphreys has been practicing fine art and photography
for over thirty years. During his career, David has photographed people,
products, architecture and food for clients all over the world. This new body
of work represents years of experimentation and processes. His focus on
structure and grids within his work dissects the subtle nuances of his imagery
and creates a special relationship with the subject. Each image is hand applied as a collage onto
various mediums. The unpredictable mark making that occurs during the process
add beauty and originality to the final piece.
Patrons worldwide have collected his fine art and he has won
numerous awards, including, the Photo District News/Nikon Award, The
Communications Arts Award and The Pete Goldsby Award for his contribution to
the art of photography and his community.
David has donated his time and efforts to countless organizations and
has been at the forefront of maintaining the integrity of the photographic
industry and the fine art community.
